Set up a private table in a minute
- Host a table. Open Team Teen Patti, enter your name and tap Host a table. No account, no app, no download.
- Choose the table settings. One pack seats up to 8, two packs shuffled together up to 14. Pick the boot, everyone’s starting chips and a pot limit. You can play or just moderate.
- Invite everyone. Paste the invite link or the 4-digit code into your family WhatsApp group, or hold up the QR code for people in the same room.
- Start dealing. The deal moves round the table, and each dealer picks the game for their round. The moderator explains it out loud, deals, and announces every show and winner.
Only people with your code can join, and anyone who arrives late gets cards from the next round.
Teen patti on WhatsApp, Zoom or Google Meet
Team Teen Patti doesn’t replace your call; it sits alongside it. Start a group video call on WhatsApp, Zoom, Google Meet or FaceTime, then everyone opens the game in their phone’s browser. Your cards stay private on your own screen, while the banter, the bluffing and the groans at a bad show happen on the call.
- On a phone, join the call on one device and the game on another, or use split-screen.
- On a laptop, keep the call in one window and the table in another.
- Mute the moderator’s voice on all but one device if the echo gets confusing.
Why play with virtual chips
Team Teen Patti never involves real money: chips can’t be bought, won or cashed out. They exist to make the betting meaningful and to keep score across the evening. That makes it suitable for mixed ages at a family party, and a lot less awkward than settling up afterwards. At the end of the game, the table shows who finished with the most chips.
Tips for a great family game
- Start with Classic, then let the dealers loose on the 27 variations. Muflis and AK47 are always crowd-pleasers.
- Use two packs for big groups. Grandparents, parents and cousins can all sit at one table of up to 14.
- Teach the new players. Send them how to play teen patti and the hand rankings. The rankings chart also sits next to their cards in the game and highlights the hand they hold.
- Pick a sensible boot. A boot of 10 with 1,000 starting chips gives everyone a long evening; a boot of 100 makes for a short, dramatic game.
- Nobody around? Choose Play vs computer and practise against four computer players before the next family get-together.
Teen patti for Diwali and festivals
Card parties are a Diwali tradition, and teen patti is the heart of them. When the family can’t all be in one living room, an online table keeps the tradition going. Plan the evening with our teen patti party ideas, from a “tour of variations” to a chip-count leaderboard.
